- Baking Soda
When it comes to green home cleaning, baking soda without any doubt is a wonderful product. Half cup baking soda mixed with full cup of borax along with cornmeal serves as the perfect ingredient for cleaning carpets. - White Vinegar

- Castile Soap (Liquid)

Prepared from vegetable fat, this product also helps with carpet cleaning and treating hard stains that are difficult to get rid of. 1/4th cup of castile soap (liquid) need to be mixed with 1/3rd cup of water and blended in blender until foam starts to appear.
- Hydrogen Peroxide
3 percent concentrated hydrogen peroxide serves as bleaching agent which is not at all harmful. Apart from being a disinfectant, the product effectively removes tough stains. Those with an eye for green home cleaning will find this product quite useful as it also helps with removal of moulds. A full cup of water can be mixed with half cup hydrogen peroxide and the mixture prepared can be applied on affected areas and left for some time.
- Lemon Juice
This non-toxic bleaching product comes with pleasant smell. For green home cleaning, lemon juice helps with stain removal and even acts as grease-cutter. Preparation of 1/4th cup castile soap along with half cup of lemon juice needs to be mixed with 2 gallons of warm water. By using mop dipped in this solution, the floor can be cleaned effectively.
- Club Soda
This acts as stain remover and even a polisher. The windows of the house can be shined by preparing a mixture of lemon juice and club soda in a spray bottle. The mixture prepared can be sprayed and cleaned with soft cloth.
